Experience
Gemma and Gary are a married couple working as a professional real estate team.
With over 20 years of combined real estate experience, the Barclays specialize
in the sales and marketing of homes, land and country properties in King
Township, Aurora, Richmond Hill and New Tecumseth and Stouffville.
Prior to becoming Realtors, Gemma and Gary were builders of Estate homes. They
have designed, built and marketed many such homes and bring to the real estate
transaction an in-depth understanding of homes from the ground up. This unique
perspective, combined with their extensive market knowledge, help the Barclays
to ensure that their clients achieve their goals quickly, easily and without
stress.
Honours
Consistently outstanding in their field, Gemma and Gary have received numerous
awards in recognition of their exemplary performance on behalf of clients. They
were named the Top Real Estate Team from 1998 to 2004 and placed within the Top
2% on the Toronto Real Estate Board for the past 7 years. In addition, the
Barclays have received the President Award, two 100% Club Awards and 5 Platinum
Awards and are members of the Remax Hall of Fame.
Professional Designations
The Barclays believe that one of the keys to success, both for themselves and
their clients, is a continually updated education. They take many classes and
seminars to increase their effectiveness and Gemma has earned the prestigious
professional designation RRS (Registered Relocation Specialist).
Personal Information
Gemma and Gary have lived in York Region for the last 30 years. They have seen
it grow and change and know it from both personal and professional experience.
They are the parents of three sons. The Barclays have also been involved in
youth activities over the years, including Gemma’s service as a Cub Leader. They
are also strong supporters of the Children’s Miracle Network. Their involvement
in the education and activities of their children and community has given the
Barclays an acute awareness of the needs and wants of families in the area. They
know the schools, the neighbourhoods, the services and the benefits available
and are a valuable information resource both for those new to the area as well
as to those who are simply changing neighbourhoods.
When not serving their clients, the Barclays enjoy working out at the gym and
going to movies.
